The BRANDSTAR AWARDS, inaugurated by Brandstar in 2021, embody the principles of innovation, sustainability, and diversity symbiosis. The awards aim to advance the industry's comprehension of brand innovation while acknowledging the exploration and advancement of brands and their service providers within the realm of brand innovation.
The UDL Industrial Design team was invited to design the trophy for the 2023 BRANDSTAR AWARDS. The trophy design concept for this year’s BRANDSTAR AWARDS is termed "A Shining Star." At its center, the trophy features a star adorned with the name of the laureate, serving as the focal point of the design. The luminosity emanating from the star extends outward, delineating an infinite expanse, symbolizing each victorious brand as a radiant celestial body. The luminous contours form the shape of the letter "B," echoing the logo of the BRANDSTAR AWARDS. From varying perspectives, the radiance dynamically follows the observer's gaze, creating an engaging interplay.
Crafted from 100% recycled aluminum, the trophy underscores the ethos of sustainability. The trophy's form is realized through the extrusion of aluminum profiles, subsequently precision-cut to uniform thickness, yielding a production process that is concise, elegant, and experimental.
