Qinglu graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art's Graphic Design MFA program. Her design experience and expertise include branding, packaging, typography, 3D graphics, motion graphics, editorial, illustration, and interactive design. Before joining SDL, she worked with Vault49 and Gretel NY in New York City, where she designed branding and packaging for clients from the US, France, Spain, China, Japan, and Korea. Her professional and personal works have been awarded or featured by Tokyo TDC, The Young Ones, AIGA 50, The Dieline, GDC Awards, etc. Qinglu sees herself as an observer, who learns about the world through the methodology of design. Sustainability for visual communication and the environment is at the center of her creative practice. Today she applies her experience at SDL, looking to create compelling design solutions for clients. In the studio, Qinglu enjoys eating Subway wraps at the desk, secretly collecting funny conversations between colleagues, and yes, listening to EDM.
