Paper samples are usually designed in small size. It might be difficult or misleading to imagine how these papers would look and feel in actual use for large printed matters like photo books, packaging and paper bags. In addition, the small stacks of papers often get bound into thick volumes, which is troublesome to flip through and select.

To optimize the user experience when designing paper samples for Antalis, we abandoned the traditional binding and categorize these 16-mo paper samples into the folder and packed them in a file box. Each sheet of paper can be taken out separately so the texture, weight, and condition of the finished product can be easier to perceive. At least one same photo are printed on all these different types of papers so users can see the difference between them to make sensible decisions.

This set of paper sample has another name: Plants and Flowers. That is the printed images as you see. We designed 7 landscapes of flowers and plants made of dots and lines, printed in CMYK and 2 spot colors. The colored straps of the file box also bring vitality to the bookshelf like the flowers and plants.
