932°F Pizza Market is a Pizza al Taglio brand, founded by a dynamic duo: a slow-cook master and a dough master. One is committed to crafting the ultimate pizza base, while the other channels a passion for diverse toppings into an array of captivating creations. Their shared adoration for the Roman-style pizza al taglio ("by the cut"), baked in sheet pans and sold by the slice, is a tribute to the liberating spirit of Italian street food – where anything can top a pizza, and everyone can relish in its delight.

Established in 2020, 932°F has swiftly claimed a prominent presence in the realm of Pizza al Taglio and Italian street food. In 2024, the brand introduced the most original cutting serving and plans to expand further, and determined to bring this unique Italian pizza experience to an even broader audience here in Beijing. They reached out to us to help evolve its identity, from store design to packaging, and beyond.

We collaborated closely with the founders to revamp their restaurant aesthetic, assisting with signage and environmental graphics for the space. The location, the lively atmosphere, and the central character, 932 Fahrenheit, laid the foundation for an identity that seamlessly integrates within the space.

Pizza, the versatile comfort food with each individual harboring personal preferences for its style and taste. The humble dough transforms into an expansive canvas for exploration and innovation. As the toppings, sauce, and dough unite in the burning oven, they transcend their individual identities, becoming a harmonious blend of flavors. The Pizza al Taglio, with its substantial rectangular shape, allows each of these beautiful ingredients to react together and exhibit its full potential. The brand name, 932°F, the peak temperature of the finest commercial ovens available, signifying a commitment to delivering the best Pizza al Taglio, passionately and freshly baked at its highest temperature, to their customers.

Our brand identity draws inspiration from these three core elements: toppings, dough, and heat. We want to celebrate how Pizza al Taglio is made: diverse toppings dropped on this rectangular canvas, and under intense heat, freshly delivered to customers. The graphic language evolved based on our brand foundation to achieve a playful & expressive setting that allows for dynamic typographic compositions. These pizza names, like toppings, are randomly dropped into squares, forming consistent yet different graphic icons. The identity reveres its unique Italian roots and the artisanal devotion that goes into each pizza, reflected in the appetizing color palette and custom typefaces that suggest ingredients artfully arranged by the chef. This language also allows them to introduce more street foods into this landscape, which perfectly aligns with their vision for the future.
In partnership with 932°F, we've crafted a brand that can adapt, grow, and resonate with customers and staff alike. We've successfully rolled out this fresh identity in their new outlets, invigorating the 932 F team and inspiring inventive offerings. This new identity set them apart as vivid and dynamic aspirations for playful food in the future, promising customers a selection of intriguing and artisanal toppings and even more food in the freshest and most accessible form. We eagerly anticipate its future expansion in food genre, customer base, and the growth of 932°F.
