GXG is a menswear fashion brand that reshapes people’s perception of down products by making it available in a variety of categories that is not limited to the function of keeping warm, including jackets, sweatshirts and backpacks.
We designed this futuristic typeface and a grid system to give the brand a young, fashion-tech look. The silver metallic material evokes both cold and warmth.
Assembly
For this futuristic down coat brand, we use basic geometric lines to form a text-based identity system. The complex Chinese strokes were refined but can still be easily-recognized.
