The men's hair styling process involves two essential steps: styling and holding. Traditional styling products such as hair paste and wax often leave residue on the user’s hands after each use, while most styling products on the market today come in screw-cap packaging. Hygiene concerns therefore occur when users close the lid directly after styling. Our solution to this is an innovative magnetic flip lid structure. This not only addresses the issue of "dirty hands" closing the lid but also revolutionizes the daily styling experience.

The packaging for styling paste also adopts a more environmentally friendly refill design. The texture on the refill's surface corresponds to the targeted hair type, guiding users to choose the appropriate styling product.

For hold-finishing hair sprays, we observed the difficulty users face in accurately controlling spray volume, especially when setting hair tips and sideburns with conventional nozzles. To address this, we introduced an adjustable nozzle, allowing users to easily control the spray volume in two levels for both large-area finishing and detailed setting. This not only enhances the user experience but also reduces material waste. The clear volume indicator on the adjustable nozzle provides crisp sound feedback as well.

The complete packaging series incorporates the iconic chamfer feature from MAKE SENSE’s previous hair styling products. The chamfer's color is used to distinguish the product's function, enhancing the sense of product series and design language continuity. Sound interaction is also integrated into the newly designed hair styling product packaging, reinforcing users’ auditory impression of MAKE SENSE’s products.
