As we gather during this festive season, our task is to pinpoint a theme and medium that resonate with the occasion. Amid the interplay of tradition and modernity, we and the brand are in agreement that the "traditional maze" embodies the Dragon Year theme while appealing to all age groups. Drawing from the iconic Prada Logo, the maze's exterior contour is shaped as an inverted isosceles triangle. Keeping true to the brand's minimalist style, instead of a literal dragon shape in the pattern, we drew inspiration from the intertwined dragon pattern of the Western Zhou Dynasty - symbolizing good fortune, nobility, and protection - to incorporate an abstract dragon concept: the maze center takes on a triangular dragon head shape, encircled by the dragon body's form. The steel ball rolling within traces out a complete dragon figure.
Prada maintains a strong bond with culture, standing out as one of the select few fashion brands that marries the intelligent style with playfulness. Our creative direction integrates traditional Chinese cultural narratives with a minimalist design language, enhancing the brand image and delivering an element of humanity amidst our professional ambiance. In terms of material selection, we've specifically chosen the elegant dark Sapele wood, known for its subtle texture and natural shine. This resonates with Chinese aesthetics, further accentuating the brand's inherent stability and luxury.
