Why is it called ''Wuyong''?

In today's highly developed era of consumerism, people pursue doing useful things. Even tasks with delayed visible outcomes are considered useless. The concept of usefulness has become a prerequisite for our choices. However, the immediate usefulness and future value often differ. Due to our excessive focus on short-term benefits, we often overlook the ''uselessness'' and its value for human spirit and the future.

Is it true that things disappearing due to the advent of industrial substitutes are all useless? Does seldom or no longer being used equate to having no value? What do we gain? What do we lose? What can I do for things that have already disappeared, are disappearing, or will disappear?

I want to do something that may not be immediately useful but will have value in the future. I want to transform things deemed useless by people into something valuable. I wish for people not to use usefulness as the sole criterion for selection. I appreciate ''uselessness'' because that's how I can give it new value. Value is never in the object itself but in the heart that cherishes.

Through creating these ''useless'' works, I want to explore the most fundamental aspects of humanity—those eternal and unchanging desires deep within people, regardless of how far our technology and economy progress...
