UDL Partner Liao Zicheng has received a Merit Award (Professional) at the 6th Shenzhen Design Award for Young Talents.
Under the theme “Shaping the Future Together,” this year’s award was jointly organized by Shenzhen and the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, bringing together 1,224 young designers and teams nominated through member cities around the world. An international jury of leading designers, educators, and scholars selected 21 winners across the professional and student categories.
Guided by the idea that “design is narrative,” Liao has continued to explore visual systems and cross-disciplinary storytelling across his practice. His work was recognized by the jury with a Merit Award in the Professional category, reflecting an ongoing approach to design that connects clear visual thinking with broader cultural and contemporary contexts.
