On October 31, 2025, UDL held its first Open Day. Thank you to everyone who joined us, whether old friends or new faces. Your enthusiasm and openness brought the space to life and made every exchange feel genuine.
Throughout the day, people moved freely through the studio, shared ideas openly, listened to one another’s perspectives on design, and took part in a small charity sale in support of stray animals. In these moments, our theme of collaboration, curiosity, and love found a tangible expression, while openness, diversity, and creativity continued to circulate through the space.
What felt especially meaningful was the immediacy of meeting face to face. The encounters, conversations, and exchanges between people are part of what gives both design and everyday life their warmth. Simply being able to gather, share ideas, and see things from one another’s perspectives was something worth celebrating.
In 2012, we began in 798.
In 2025, we returned.
Beneath the sawtooth roofs of the Bauhaus-era architecture, this is more than a place to work. It is a space for making, discussion, and exchange.
Collaboration, curiosity, and love remain our shared point of departure, and the direction in which we continue to grow.
Under the name UDL, we begin a new chapter.
And with United, Design, Love, we move forward.
